Has your PR strategy gone into hibernation?

If you've ever wondered how to get more media coverage for your business or how to
sque eze the most out of every opportunity, then you should plan to attend our signature women's networking luncheon!

"Sales and marketing professionals often juggle a lot of responsibilities. It's difficult to find the time to stay current on marketing trends and PR strategies, let alone to implement them. At this luncheon, we will zero in on precisely what you need to know to get noticed in the media," says Heather.

Heather's a hands-on public relations professional who uses these strategies every day to increase her clients' visibility. Her advice will help clear away your confusion of how media relations works and ultimately improve your current strategy for better overall results.

Get to know our keynote speaker!

Heather Champine, VP of media production at Media Relations Agency is a multi- faceted leader. She's part marketing strategist, part consumer psychologist and part motivational cheerleader. "I love understanding what drives people to take action, especially when it involves getting the media to run stories about our clients", she says.

With more than 20 years of experience, she has the keen understanding and insight to know how to run an integrated campaign and what it takes for clients stories to become the news. She enjoys leading campaigns for complex industries such as medical devices and technologies, as well as fun industries such as hair salons. She thrives on pursuing creative ways to educate consumers about clients' products, and ultimately inspiring them to buy. "I appreciate becoming part of each client's marketing team. I cherish the long lasting relationships, and successful marketing programs we've created together."

Heather also finds joy in her daily collaborations as part of the creative team at Media Relations . "I'm grateful to work with publicists, writers, designers, and other marketing experts, all enjoying what they do because they are using their God- given strengths. Our publicists have great instincts because they all have media backgrounds.

When things get hectic, it's often Heather who cracks the first joke. "We encourage people to be a little goofy and unique. Some of the best ideas and solutions emerge because we know how to have fun." she grins. " I may say something like, "Remember this is PR, not the ER. Now, lighten up and go book a great story idea with the media!"
Heather is a Twin Cities business woman that you should know!

Through her decades of hands on experience working with the media around the world, Heather's learned how to leverage her media connections. She's going to share some of her favorite secrets to success. We'll have plenty of time for open Q & A with Heather, so get social with us!

Some key takeaways from this luncheon include:

  • Learn how publicity can be more effective than advertising.
  • Hear why you should view reporters and producers as an extension of your national sales force.
  • Discuss the importance of customizing your approach in a group setting with hands on practice pitching.
  • Get tips for routinely extending the reach of each media placement you receive.
