Winning a relevant and credible business award is a fantastic way to gain recognition from your peers, raise your profile in the business community and demonstrate to potential customers, colleagues and competitors that you are excelling in your field.

We’ve designed the awards to make them as inclusive as possible; we have categories for women running very small business to those leading large corporate organizations. They cover a range of industry sectors and they’re open to women running businesses and those employed in them.

The process of creating a nomination is itself an important part of recognizing the contributions of extraordinary women in our community and constitutes a “win” for every nomination that is sent in.

These awards were established to bring companies and organizations together to honor more female leaders, share their success stories, and give more women recognition for their achievements and contributions to the advancement of opportunities for women. Executive Woman of the Year Award

This award recognizes an outstanding woman at the senior executive level who has made a significant contribution throughout her career and who has contributed to the advancement of women within her industry.

Company of the Year Award

This award recognizes an organization for its performance in supporting the career advancement of women and their full spectrum of achievement in the critically important area of organizational change.

Leadership Excellence Awards

This award category celebrates the achievements of women to watch who have, in recent years, distinguished themselves as leaders and have also contributed to the community through their accomplishments in one of the following categories: Start Up Business, Digital/ Online Business, International Business, Not for Profit, Retail, STEM, Young Entrepreneur (under 30 years old), SME Emerging  (0-9 Employees), SME Growth (10+ Employees), Extraordinary Woman, and Rising Star.

Influential Woman of the Year Award

We select the winner based upon a four-point set of criteria:

• A positive influence on the professional community
• The application of creativity or innovation in solving problems or overcoming challenges
• A demonstrated commitment to the highest ethical standards
• Service as mentor of trusted advisor to others
