Event Description:
This casual, supportive meet up group provides a valuable resource for those living with diabetes and pre-diabetes, including family and friends. All are welcome! Type 1 and Type 2, Gestational, Pediatric. We all experience similar triumphs and challenges and sharing our stories can make a big difference.
Topics may vary and can range from healthy meal planning/recipes to disease logistics to better stress management. We welcome YOUR questions, concerns and worthwhile insights!
We meet the 4th Monday of each month and are led by Ascent's Diabetes Coach, Carrie Boe, CHC & HHP (Certified Health Coach, Holistic Health Practitioner and also a well-managed diabetic for nearly 25 years). Carrie also owns SuperStrongChick Health Coaching and is a member of Encourage Her Network.
